That was the Brasil favorite son.
I remember waking up early almost every sunday to watch Senna run with my family.
    Great time back then.

To the greatest racing diver of all time.

I wish i was old enough to have watched F1 when Senna raced. I can't wait for the documentary to come out.

it's so sad to know that he passed before his time. his personality kind of reminds me of Colin McRae to an extent, oddly enough another bright light extinguished early.

to the greatest F1 driver of all.

my hat's off to you, Senna.

the dude could drive even with his eyes closed!

even love the honda nsx he designed, though he was the only one who could take it to its limits.

As a massive F1 fan, I started watching in 92' Senna was my favourite driver and I still remember the day that crash took his life. I for one will be eagerly awaiting the feature length film due to be released later this year

Ayrton Senna da Silva makes me feel proud of being Brazilian.
To this day I am touched when I see some documentary about him, especially when I hear "Tema da Vitória".
    Best F1 driver ever.
Rest in peace, Ayrton Senna do BRASIL!!!!

just like some of you here, I myself was unfortunate not to be old enough to really watch Senna race (sadly I did see Imola 1994...I was 6 though and didnt really understand it)

Ayrton Senna is the essence of Formula One, absolutely ruthless on the track, and a devout christian off the track.

I have known about the new senna movie coming out for over 2 years..but theres little-to-no information about it anywhere (for awhile I thought it was a dead project)

Senna is not perfect, nobody is. 1989 and 1990 were not the best in terms of image for Senna, but he was doing what he does best. Winning. That was his job.

1994 San Marino Grand Prix was the worst moment in Formula One for a long time.

Rubens' crash, the unfortunate death of Roland Ratzenberger (to be killed on his first ever Grand Prix is tradgic)

and that fateful sunday morning, as sad as it is, it is beautiful in a way, He died doing what he loved to do, even though it should not have happened in the first place.

what pissed me off the most was the pure incompetence of the F1 community that weekend, while crews were trying to recessitate and move senna to the medivac a fucking Car flew around tamburello ON A RED FLAG...how the fuck did he get out of the pit lane?!

Im sure most of you have seen the 1995 Documentary about senna, it was fantastic...I wish I could have seen Senna in the wet, or even just to be able to shake his hand and say thank you for what he did for not just the formula one community, but what he did for his country, and his people.
