Thread: Your tips for World Cup 2010 semis

Semi finals coming up;

Germany vs. Spain
Uruguay vs. Netherlands

My tips



Spain were certainly big favorites coming in (along with Brazil), but haven't been performing too well. On the other hand, Germany have been absolutely electric! But with Germany missing a key forward, and Spain's excellent technical skills, I think Spain will triumph.

Netherlands have been moving through consistenly with their impenetrable defense, and I don't see them falling to Uruguay. Easy win for them.

What do you guys think?

Well I think that Uruguay might surprise Holland, Uruguay hasn't been playing too well but I think they are both on the same level.

Spain was favorite since they won the last tournament but the way they are playing now will not help them against Germany. I was even hoping that they got eliminated in the first rounds but they got lucky and made it to the semis.

I'm 100% sure Germany will win the cup, that team has been performing really well but hopefully the refs don't play against them.

Eventhough i am latino, Netherlands earned being in the final. Suarez (Uruguay) is too big of a flopper.
