Thread: Players That Have Impressed So far

So with the group stage just about to end, which players have caught your eye so far? Who would you like/wish your team to buy? Which player have really excelled in their positions?

For me a lot have been quiet so far ie kaka, ronaldo, torres, lampard, iniesta, van persie, sneijder, etc messi has done ok without being at his best. The players that have caught my eye so far have been Ozil for Germany and Honda for Japan, also Pereira from Uruguay and Elano for Brazil have had decent tornaments so far, as has the German Keeper Neuer.

The players that have impressed me so for are kaka and david villa ;-)

van persie and honda are good...

Thomas Muller and Mesut Ozil from Germany, Honda from Japan, Handanovic from Slovenia and many others

i thought cannavaro and gattuso did well ;)

Fabio Quagliarella from Italy and Elia from Netherlands.
Cannavaro on the other hand, reminds me Paolo Maldini in 2002 WC. He only did good in last 30 minutes of all 3 games.
