I was watching SBS news yesterday when Craig Foster came on and launched a blistering criticism on Pim Verbeek and his tactics in the Germany loss. He basically called for a Pim Verbeek to have to justify his tactics in the Ghana game to a team of ex-Socceroos captains or otherwise be sacked immediately.
I was shocked when I saw it. Surprisingly, the rest of the media hasn't seemed to have picked up on the story. I suppose no one watches SBS other than when the football is on.
I haven't found any other news on Fozz's criticism. He made similar comments on The World Game albeit in a less dramatic manner. - See link below

Craig Foster - sack Pim Verbeek immediately | The Australian
I agree Verbeek chose the wrong plan in the Germany but I don't think it would really be useful to have a group come in and undermine the coach. The players need to have confidence that the coach is in full control. A group of ex-Socceroos captains wouldn't have the coaching expertise to effectively critique Verbeek's tactics anyway. Also I think it wouldn't help us in our search for a new Socceroos coach after the World Cup. Sacking him now would just throw the team into further disarray.
What does everyone else think?
