Thread: Portugal vs Ivory Coast

Oh my God! In my oppinion, this wasn't a game, it was a nightmare...
And for what i saw so far, it will continue to be to portuguese team. Hope i'm wrong though...
Ivory Coast is a very difficult one, very compact, very good players and to be honest they were the best team on the field today...
Portugal had zero criativity. What comes up to mind for Portugal is: a team without ambition is a team who can't go forward on the competition...

I agree with you. But I think Portugal has ambition... Queiroz blow up the system. He chosed Danny instead of Simão, that changed everything. Okay: Danny is a good player but in my opinion, he's a second half player. I was sad, poor Liedson always without help.
Well, I hope Queiroz opens his eyes to what happened today and that correct the mistakes they had.;)

If they barely survived against Ivory Coast, they are going to get crushed by Brazil.
The portugese are not in sync, they will hve to get their act together if they want to be taken seriously.
