    Default Germany vs Australia

Hey guys. 4-0 to Germany, really great result and first match that had a lot of goals in this world cup.

    Goals were scored by

    • Lukas PODOLSKI (8')
    • Miroslav KLOSE (26')
    • Thomas MUELLER (68')
    • CACAU (70')

I think that Germany is really a great candidate to win this world cup, they have a really strong team and showed today.

As for Australia, bad luck... Couldn't do anything useful there, Germany beat them all the game!

Germany deserves their victory, but i think referee made wrong decision for Cahill's red card.

Yeah, Germany definitly showed that they can go far on this Cup. Good football, awsome combinations, 4 goals, but who saw the match knows that could be even more!
If some teams disappointed in the first game (like England for instance), this was not the case for Germany. I was really impressed...
As "oguzkagan", i think Cahill's red card was a little bit exagerated by the referee, but Australia will have to work hard if they wanna get through to the next stage...

    lawl Aus fails.

Real good match actually, if you are supporting Germany that is.
Also agree about the ref and the red card being a bad choice. Meh.

I'm just keen to see how New Zealand goes tomorrow >.<

I must say, seeing some of my aussie colleagues the next day was priceless. The look on their faces! 4-0, thats as bad as it gets during a world cup that is. It was really fun to watch, considering how slow football is (especially when there is 0-0) compared to most sports. I'm a fan of football and its good to see a game (more like public excecution) with so much action!

That Cahill red was a joke. And it torpedos the small chance that the Aussies still had. Losing him next match will make it very hard to get a result. Without Cahill, there isnt much punch in their attack. That said, Germany was awfully impressive. We obviously havent seen Brazil or Spain yet, but Germany is clearly the most impressive team thus far.
