Thread: Algeria vs. Slovenia

I think that Slovenia will win, im guessing 2 - 0.

I think it's the most boring game by now.

Honestly on of the worst games in the tournament so far but it was expected to be somewhat poor unlike England vs USA .

This game poses the question how either of those teams can make it into the world cup and puts a severe question mark over.

1 European playoffs how did the so called seeding system allow Slovenia to get into the world cup.

2 How can 6 African teams make it into the world cup when far better nations are being constantly omitted eg Ireland,Ukraine,Russia,Croatia to name but a few.
The match didnt deserve the analysis or commentary by any nations broadcaster other than the countries playing,Even the stadium was only 66% full for a world cup game.

3.Easy groups the usa and england will walk it.

This game illustrates the clear holes in the qualification system and also the grouping/seeding system how those two teams can be in the world cup is beyond me.

This rant will most likely be furthered when New Zealand,N.Korea and Honduras play on the competiton.

They are all being given 2000-1 by my local bookmaker and will most likely be hammered in every game a true waste of a world cup spot.

New Zealand scrapped into the world cup with a dodgy result against Bahrain.

It really frustrates me to see such poor footballing displays on such an occasion,

The awful goalkeeping and hair of the goalkeeper sums up my whole argument.

All the luck in the world cant buy you decent tactics or players.There defence was shaky,The goalkeeper has made an absolute howler on a slow and easy shot and they have no play-maker.

The best player on the park for them was Yebda

also Ghezzal was doing well until he got a stupid and needless booking only 20 seconds after coming on only to handball it deliberately for no reason 10 minutes later and then get sent off

He put his team under pressure and with that sort of shakey defence it was only time before they leaked a goal.

I wouldnt say hard luck rather why is our manager so inept at making good decisions?

Yebda? I don't think so. He could do better than that... ACTUALLY if Ziani played nice, they would play a lot better and maybe win!

For me the best player playing for Algeria was Belhadj. He attacked really good.Bougherra was also nice.
As for the man of the match clearly Koren.
It was a poor match ... but I hope Slovenia qualifies!
