Thread: South Africa vs. Mexico

So i've been seeing this game and for the first time i seen South Africa playing i loved it...

I lost the first bet... :cursing::cursing::cursing:

I didn't expect this kind of game from South Africa and Mexico dissapointed me a bit... I've expected more from them...

Surely the first half of the game Mexico dominated and created more opportunities to score but i think that South Africa wasn't that bad on the first half and in the second they dominated the game indeed...

I surely will follow the games from South Africa to see them playing now that i know that they play a nice football...

I thought it was a great game with a fairly up tempo attacking style.
Both teams had chances to go ahead. SA were lucky not to go down a goal in the first half. Great saves and defending lead it to be 0-0 at HT. Cracking goal by SA in the 2nd half but Mexico fought back which shows some character.

Disappointed that SA didn't steal the win towards the death with that chance which hit the post.

I enjoyed SA's game. They played really well. They had some glitches over the game but in counter-attack they blow Mexico !
First goal was really great. I got sad when Mexico scored, and I thought "man I wish they score one more" (SA) and they had that last chance that wasn't goal.
Shame but I hope they qualify for the next round :D

SA can't have better chances to score . They missed a lot. Anw, a draw is nice for an openning match

Well,this was a nice match with a lot of goal opportunities.I was expecting this result...too bad that I didn't placed my bet.By the way congratz for the members that guessed it well.:)

damn I never thought this will go to this tight know at last...game was kind of exciting full time though some unlucky miss :/ and I lost my bet too... damn i was expecting a 3-1 here...lol I guess to high expectations...

I didn't see the first half, but from what i've heard the Mexicans dominated...
In the 2nd half South Africa had enough chances to win the game... And always pushed by the crowd they made a very good game indeed...
I expected much more from Mexico... They didn´t play well, were very slow going to the attack. Unfortunately made me lose my first bet :(

Great result for RSA .... could not have gone better for them given the opponent they were facing
