    Default NHL Playoff Predictions

    With the NHL postseason underway we should all post our predictions.

    Stanley Cup Winner: Vancouver

    I have to cheer on a quality Canadian team. I'm a Leafs fan which makes me hate Ottawa and Montreal by default so go Canucks!

    First Round Predictions:

    Eastern Conference:
    Washington wins vs Montreal in 5
    New Jersey wins vs Philadelphia in 6
    Boston wins vs Buffalo in 7
    Pittsburgh wins vs Ottawa in 4

    Western Conference:
    San Jose wins vs Colorado in 5
    Chicago wins vs Nashville in 6
    Vancouver wins vs Los Angeles in 5
    Detroit wins vs Phoenix in 6

    Well it is a bit late to make first round predictions by I will say Detroit and Canucks in Conference final. The other final will be Caps and Pens.

    Wow, you successfully guessed 6 of 8 winners!

    I was really surprised and pleased about Montreal beating Washington! I like Canadian Teams and I love Montreals goalie, Jaroslav Halak!

    Here are my further predictions:

    Western Conference SF:
    Detroit wins vs San Jose in 7
    Vancouver wins over Chicago in 6

    Eastern Conference SF:
    Pittsburgh wins vs Montreal in 6
    Boston wins vs Philadelphia in 7

    And because I'm a Detroit fanboy: Detroit wins the Cup vs Vancouver in 7. :)
