Thread: Mayweather VS Pacquiao?

My favorite player is Mayweather he have some muscles..:D

I see this fight happening if Floyd somehow gets off really easy with the charges pending. We will find out the week before the Pacman-Margarito fight what charges Floyd will be facing, there is a strong chance that he might serve time.

Speaking as a boxing fan, this whole negotiation process has been a disaster. But in this case it's is not so much due to the sport but more to do with the fact that both these guys are extremely rich already and have huge ego's. Neither guy wants to give in at the negotiation table.

I think for the most part Mayweather was planning long term after the Mosley that he was going to take the rest of the year off and he probably wants to make the fight next spring...but now with the criminal stuff it really changes things. Floyd needs this fight at this point, his public persona both as a person and fighter has really been hurt due to his actions a few months ago.

One thing to also remember, is that these things always have happened in boxing history, ie Hagler-Leonard took even longer to make etc etc, and while its embarrassing for the sport its only really been one year that this fight has been possible...so don't give up hope yet.

The main concerns are Floyd going to prison and Pac losing to Margarito. The second is very possible, Pac seems distracted in training camp while Cheto looks hungry and focused. This is yet another one of those fights were only two years ago we would be laughing at the notion of Pac fighting a guy as big as Margo, now he is a heavy favorite. This will not be a cakewalk for Manny.

I'm flying in for the fight, my first Pac fight. Solid undercard too, hope to see 70k+ show up.

I've been waiting for this for the past 2 years. i really hope it happens soon!

I've been following pac's countdown against Margarito and am confident he will blow through this guy just like his last few opponents, even if Antonio is taller and has longer reach etc.. Manny has flurry punches and strange angles that catch everybody. This guy is just a pleasure to watch.
