Thread: Man City's Billions

Ok so manchester city have spent about 200million on players so far (since the Arab guys came) do you think this is a good thing or a bad thing, and why.

do you think its killing teams like aston villa and one day maybe even arsenal chances of success with their substantial debts or is it just improving the quality of the premier league making it one of the best in the world.

well uv got a point but City have spent most of that money over here so they've given them clubs money to spend themselves an tbh they've paid over the odds for most of em so the other teams cant complain lol

I guess what matters is the game of football. The more better it gets more we enjoy the game. For the Love of game i guess money shouldn't be the factor. Better players will make it more enjoyable,isn't it!

Of course they are killing the game, and I could shift change the balance of power in English Premier League as well, but personally I couldn't care less for Premiership, since all of its clubs are destroying the game as well.

They are buying, buying and buying, and all those players they bought will be missed in their ex-clubs, and that will seriously weaken them, so they will be unable to compete with expensive foreign legions from Premiership, that's why in last 3 years each year we had 3 english clubs in semis, now was it because of their youth schools and players they "made", no it was because of expensive foreign players and staff...
