    He's back: Favre to Vikings

Breathe easy Michael Vick. You are no longer front page news.

Brett Favre is on his way to Minneapolis in Zygi Wilf's private plane and will sign a 1-year, $12 million dollar deal with the Vikings later today.

Personal Note: I'm so sick of this drama queen. God don't cry & lie at the end of the season when you know good & well that you're not gonna retire. I never liked him, now the respect is fading...

I think this is a really bad move. Brett Favre is a has been and everyone seen how he lost the Jets season last year. I wouldnt want him on my team regardless who he is. Also this move is gonna mess that locker room all up in my opinion. TJ & Sage have to be pissed about this. Your told that your the starter and now your on the bench. They work so hard in training camp and Brett Favre can skip it, walk right in and be the starter. What do u think some of the players think about that? Regardless if he's a future hall of famer or not, he should get no better treatment then all the hardworking guys on that team. You know what? Im also tired of this guy crying & whining. He needs to stay retired and stop making an embarrasment of himself and the leauge.

I really don't understand why he kept retiring... what's the advantage? is it just to move teams? does retiring get him out of contract so he can become a free agent or something?

No, it doesnt void his contract. If he retires with 2 years left on his contract then he wouldnt be able to come back to another team until those two years is up. Unless they cut or trade him, which happened both times.

In my opinion this whole fiasco was his plan to somehow land on the Vikings [which worked]. All due to the Packers telling him they didnt want him anymore. So he basically retired last year knowing the Jets would cut him & then he could sign with the Vikings. Now he gets to do what he wanted since this whole "im retiring" thing started > play the Packers.

His plan was to always come back this year. He knew it and so did Brad Childress. He bypassed training camp for the 2nd straight year cause he's stuck up. So long story short > yes him retiring was just to switch teams.

Favre is such a douche, much like most of the players in the NFL. But the NFL doesn't care about their image which was clearly shown with allowing Vick to return. So I've just gotten used to it.

OMG I cant believe he is coming back. I dont think its the best. I mean I used to think it was a good thing because I loved bret farve but now I think he should just let himself stay the great football player he retired as. because I dont think he is going to be as great as he was back then. its just been too long already and hey no offense to anyone but sometimes age does get the best of people. GOOD LUCK TO YOU THOUGH

For 12 Million dollars at his age? Bit risky. But noway the Vikings are going to the Superbowl.
