It does make them stronget, but loosing Ariza they step down a few steps.
I think they are still the team to beat. If healthy.

at first, I thought Artest wouldn't fit in, or the balance of the team might be negatively affected. but then I realized, we're talking about Phil Jackson. if anyone can use his talent effectively, he can

I was not one of the people who was excited about this transfer, and he has not shown himself worthy yet in the team IMO.

So, this quesiton was posted some time back but now it should be revisited. I think that Artest has helped, but we'll see how this works in the playoffs.
