Thread: KB24 vs LBJ23

Since it seems like every NBA thread always comes down to Kobe or Lebron I decided to make this thread. Here's my opinion:

LBJ is the best all around player in the NBA. Now before you go crazy and ask me why while using percent signs to cover up the languge you'll use (shame on you :P) here it is:

*Lebron has it all, offense: He can shoot outside. He can knock down the midrange jumper. Nobody is stopping him from dunking.

Defense: You will NEVER see Kobe come from behind and block a shot like Lebron does. He sends shots into the seats like you're at a baseball game catchin a foul ball. He steals like its nothing & he is always in his opponents face. Kobe is not stickin D like that.

Athleticism: The king has a football body with a basketball skill set. Who else is 6'8 & 250 pounds doin the things the King does on a nightly basis? No one thats who.

*I will say this: Kobe is a better finisher than Lebron. Kobe can shoot from anywhere on the floor. LBJ cant do that yet. Kobe (who stole this from Mike) can fade away from you like its nothin. Kobe can play off of the glass better than LBJ too.

As an all around player, nobody in the NBA right now is better than the king himelf :001_tongue:

I'll take KB24 over LB23. No flaw to KB24's game. Nothing.
You can't go wrong with either on your team.

antioxGT, I don't know about NO flaws. Seems like the Boston Celtics (my team!) easily shut him down last year.

We all know if it wasn't for KG and Leon Powe injury, we'd be right back in the Finals this year.

Oh yeah btw, LeBron is hands down the best. There's no argument. Kobe needs Gasol. LeBron has Mo Williams.

Wrong again. KG wouldnt have been able to stop Dwight. Is KG a game changer? Yes. Against Dwight, no.

This is exactly why I cant stand them. They cry all the damn time to the refs. They play dirty. They have their noses so high in the air that if it rains they drown. My Bulls pushed yall to seven games. Yall got lucky with the no calls (how the hell do you NOT call that a flagrant?) & the lucky 3s by Ray Ray.

The celtics even tried to trade away Rondo & Allen. Back in 2010? Be serious. I dont like the lakers or the celtics so dont think Im an LA fan when I defend KB. I cant stand him either but you gotta respect him.

EDIT: Sorry if it seems like Im comin at you directly. Im not. It just pisses me off when I get reminded of the series...

Haha I feel you. I'm passionate about the game too. Discussions like these are what makes the NBA so good.

You're right, KG can't stop Dwight. I can give you that most of the time. But with KG on the floor, we had the best TEAM defense. Perkins is a very underrated help defender, KG is the world's best help defender, and the perimeter plays solid D with maybe the exception of Ray Ray. If you forget about Pierce's D, look up videos of last year when he defended "King" James.

The Celtics were the better team. But Chicago played us well and I enjoyed every minute of it.

Back to topic, LeBron singlehandedly brought his team to the Eastern Conference Finals. Kobe has Gasol (Top 5 Big man) and nice complimentary players around him.
