Wow! Did anyone see the frontpage of espn.com?

    Shaq is now a Witness!

The 64 million dollar question is, will LeBron finally get his first ring? Who's the real sidekick - Shaq or LeBron? If Shaq wins AGAIN, this will be the third "sidekick" or "partner in crime" for him. Is he carrying the team?

And of course, can the Cavs beat the CELTICS? Doubt it. :001_tongue:

The Cavs look desperate to me. They get Shaq coz LeBron just told them so, but I don't think Shaq guarantees a championship for the Cavs. They need a power forward who can score down low, maybe an Elton Brand type of a player, or a two-guard who is bigger than Mo Williams, imo. Although Shaq can help them in the playoffs, I don't see him playing a lot of minutes in the coming regular season. So it'll be LeBron doing much of the work, with Shaq having more time on the bench than on the hardcourt, as his sidekick.

The Celtics are also busy trying to strengten their team. I heard that they are willing to trade Allen to other teams.
But if the Celtics remain together, and with Garnett coming back, I don't see the Cavs beating the Celtics even with Shaq.

But teams have to go through Lakers, coz I think they will win it again next season.:001_tongue:

Well I don't know mate, Shaq is the most dominant center of all time...

But you're right, LeBron is the future of the NBA.

LeBron is better than Kobe. YOU'VE got to be kidding me. Hands down. No questions asked.

Lol guys....This will make for a good debate. Who's better? Kobe or LeBron?

For me, it's got to be Kobe(at least for now). Remember the puppet commercial, where Kobe asked" Hey LeBron, have you seen my 3(now it's 4) championship rings?"

If LeBron starts winning championships, I think he'll be considered better than Kobe(or even MJ).

LeBron vs. Kobe would be a good poll =)

I'd give the edge to Kobe because of his experience, and also because he is proving to be quite an amazing leader... with him on your team, you hardly even need a coach... did anyone get to see the movie by Spike Lee "Kobe, Doin' Work" ?

    Offtopic! Its not about KB or LBJ its about Shaq. Discuss that here :P ;

Anyway, you guys seem to forget who won the East last season. ORLANDO beat BOTH the Celts AND the Cavs. The Celts didnt have KG but still no excuses. I dont see them doing too much with their cheating lil cry baby of a point guard. Ray ray is getting old + the truth is too. KG is the only one who I think will be fresh next season.

As far as the Cavs go, the only reason they got Shaq is to defend Dwight. Let's be real. Ben Wallace was not fxckin with Dwight down low & neither was Illy. Cleveland is no where near worried about the Celts as they are about Orlando.

This comes down to Orlando resigning Hedo. If he stays I have them winning their division. If he goes...I dunno.

Shaq was the most dominant force in the NBA. If Dwight works hard he will be (he may already be) the most dominant force in the NBA right now.

Shaq is no longer diesel, but unleaded lol

Oh no way dude. Dwight Howard the most dominant big man? Maybe defensively I can give you that. But offense, he's got nothing! Haven't you seen the Finals this year? He was shut down by Pau Gasol? Andrew Bynum? C'MON man! He needs to build up his lower body strength and get a post move or two.

Shaq by the way, averaged 18 and 9. Those are diesel numbers no matter how you try to twist it.
