I think it's a good thing.
Mainly because the sport has become very dull in the last few years and maybe it will start a new and more interesting series.
Max Mosley and the FIA really ruined this sport.
Competition is always a good thing, especially when monopoly is the only one going on.
I think the argument is over the top flight of motor racing being the best that it can be and that takes money. Dumbing down the performance of the richer players to accomodate the smaller guys.
The question is, will it make the sport more interesting to watch?
I was actually for the rules the FIA were to introduce.. it wasn't like they were being strangled in spending.. it was just a fair playing field it was still a considerable amount of money being lashed out..
