    Default Brett Favre

Is anyone else sick of all this bullshit talk about Favre? It's on ESPN 24/7. You can't watch Sportcenter or any game without hearing about fuckin Brett Favre. Maybe it's his fault or probably the media, but all I know is that it needs to stop now. He should have taken the retirement deal that the Packers offered him before last season.

Same here. The dude needs to make up his mind. He is so unstable. I hope the Vikings don't sign him. It will diminish AP's involvement in the offense. Just retire and enjoy life.

I cant agree more, he needs to make up his mind and get out so young guys can play or finish his career at what ever team signs him.

I cant disagree more, I for one would like to see the most talented quarterback I've ever seen play 1 more season. It doesn't bother me that espn cant stop talking about him, and if it bothers you, your problem is with espn not Favre. If you are a packers fan, I can understand if you are a little bitter but when one of the best players in football for the last 18 years thinks he can comeback and play one more season, I think its a good thing.

Antiox, if you are a football fan you should understand that a good qb takes pressure off of a good rb and vice versa. You cannot setup your defense to stop both. Every defense was keying on Peterson the entire season and I'm sure he would like to see a decent qb hand the ball off to him. If anything the signing of Favre would mean increased production from AP. I'm sorry Tavaris Jackson and Sage Rosenfels just plain suck.

i understand what your're saying, but he is such a drama queen about it. he had a great first half of last years season, but ended up blowing the jets chances of a playoff run. personally, i think he can still play, but he honestly needs to make a decision and stick with it. his career can only get worse from here. he led the league in interceptions last year and he also holds the record for most career interceptions. i'm not saying he's a bad qb. he just needs to stop being so god damn fickle. tavaris jackson sucks, sage rosenfels is ok, but brett favre is definitely better than both of them together. if they did acquire him, that would open up the running game for AP because now defenses have to worry about a good qb that can throw the ball accurately.

I used to respect Brett Favre (and this coming from a Bears Fan!). But honestly, he has ruined his reputation.

I dont care if Favre comes to the Vikings, because he wont make them better there. Favre cant throw it that deep any more and injuries have put him down.

Personally I don't care whether or not he plays another year or not. He's old, washed up and throws to many interceptions. I say bring it on,because Minnesota doesn't have any real wide receivers anyways. I say the Bears take that division regardless. Everyone should have seen it coming though,he wanted to go there last year but the Packers were not having it. Be prepared,he will call them after training camp and say he wants play, just like he did last year. Why else would he have made the Jets release him? Hmm........Oh yeah,I'm sick of seeing it also.

I gotta disagree. The most talented qb I've ever seen was definitely not Brett Favre. It was John Elway. Favre has all of the records, but John was a better qb than him. If it came down to picking a hall of fame qb to build a team around I would take either John or Joe Montana. Brett is more of a winner, but as far as talent John has it locked.

Brett has the Jordan complex, meaning he doesnt know when to quit. The only difference between Mike & Brett is that people actually wanted Mike back. ESPN analysts are even saying that their getting tired of Brett & his second guessing. Hang it up, there's nothing more for you to do in the NFL...

I have to agree you on that one MixKing. Brett Farve is far from the most talented QB to ever play the game. I would have to put Joe ahead of John though, but hay that's just my opinion there. But why where at it let's not forget Ken Stabler,Dan Marino,Terry Bradshaw or even Roger Staubach. I would take anyone of these guys over Brett Farve. Now don't get me wrong,I'm not saying that Brett isn't any good, but when you start measuring the talent level,I would put anyone of them ahead of ol' Brett.
