Apparently they've reached an agreement & the first game will be in late December.
Any thoughts?
Personally, I am ecstatic & can't wait for the games to begin...Timberwolves are on the come up!

As an overall fan of the US professional game (I prefer its structure to that of college/world ball), I'm elated that the NBA is back. Yes, I'm ecstatic to watch the players I enjoy watching, however, I think they should have taken the time before it got to this point to completely restructure the league. I'm a Laker fan, and I currently continue to be mad at Derek Fisher for this mess, a man I'm used to making jokes about being the ghost of himself until the post season - wherein he comes alive. Even when he angers me on the court, I stand behind him. This is different. They all make too much money, from the owners on down. If I had been the one structuring the deal, I'd have said this: You each get 1.5 million/year and every player has the same league monetary value. Your outside endorsements and sponsorships are on you, that's fine, do whatever you want. As a result of leveling the financial value playing field - owners, you're going to take a pay cut too. Since every player costs the same, large markets can't suggest that they're not making enough to cover their overpaid spread, and small markets can afford the players that fill seats. Ticket prices need a 30% cut as well - since you're not hemorrhaging money on your players. That said, you each get 11% of the BRI, 2% of the BRI goes to pension plans for retired players, and the other 76% goes in to NBA Cares. Think about how much more fun the league would be.
Yes, I would like to see how Ricky Rubio will do in Timberwolves. Beside that im very thrilled that NBA will finally start.
what do you guys think about 66 games, team are going have stretches like back to back to back, or 10 games in 14 days. I personally see a lot more injuries and burnouts, especially some players are not going to be in shape.
