Thread: Any NASCAR fans here?

I looked through all the sports threads and not one about NASCAR, I saw a couple on F1 and one for Indy car. I can't believe there is no love for NASCAR out there.



I have been a fan of NASCAR for over 30 years now, I have been around racing all of my life. My dad had a sprint car when I was growing up and we raced all over the mid west. We even had Tim Richmond drive our sprint car for a few months on his way up.

My first NASCAR race I attend was when I was 10 at Talladega super speedway in Alabama.

I have been attending at least two races every year ever since. My goal is to attend at least one race at every track they race on. I now live in the south so the west coast and the north east tracks are still on the list. I have attend multiple races at Charlotte, Talladega, Atlanta, Daytona, Michigan, Indy, Martinsville, Rockingham, North Wilkesboro, Richmond, and Bristol.

Let me know your racing stories, let me know I not alone here.

no but i've been to talladega a few times and had a blast camping out and getting wasted i never watched a race though !

Haha i don't really watch Nsacar really, but i played some of Nascar games & i hope the nascar fans don't get mad at me but i never really liked the Nascar series ever since i played it, but i also watched a little bit of nascar racing, it's a bit boring but each to his own, i like the cars but the oval racing is way too boring for me

The only Nascar races I watch are the road courses.

Car racing is pretty fun but I just don't understand how driving a car is considered a sport.
