Default Will the New Jersey Devils make the playoffs?

Well to anyone following the NHL. The Devils have to be in the back of (or front of.. if you're a fan) your mind. I mean lets face it, Back in december being 27 points out of a playoff birth and holding onto a terrible .300 win percentage they were being written off as the worse team dropoff in points from one year to the next, 103 last year to what was on pace to be ~60 points this season. Well, the coaching change bringing in Jacques Lemaire and dropping rookie coach John MacLean proved to do something as the Devils have gone 23-3-2 in their last 28 games leaving them with an unheard of .821 win percentage and now has them 8 points out of a playoff spot. Not only would this be an NHL record, but would be the second best comeback of any team in any sport from one half of the season to the next. Being a Devils fan myself. I believe they can do it.

They started off to late. And if Parise was healthy and playing I probably say yes. Martin Broduer and Kovalchuk were having the worst seasons ever after 45 games and now they are both back on track... It will be one of the most amazing turnarounds I ever seen.

I am pretty sure I recall the devils firing a coach with like a month to play and they brought in Lemaire and they won the cup that season. He seems to really get the most out of his players!
