Thread: Restart torrent downloads even after reinstalling your bittorrent client

If you have problems with you bittorrent client Eg. Bittorrent and want to uninstall it so that you reinstall it, dont get worried of losing your downloads. This is because you can resume them even after reinstalling. These are the steps.
1. Make sure you have the .torrent file you used to start the download, or atleast know where you downloaded it from.
2. Uninstall and reinstall the bittorrent client.
3. Open the .torrent files (normally by double clicking it). If you set up your bittorrent client to be the default program for handling .torrent files then it will start and ask you where to save your download.
4. Choose the exact location where you had your unfinished download and say Ok
The software will perform a recheck and resume the download but if it doesnt then right click the download and choose force recheck.
