    WEEK 1

This week I will teach you how to blend a image into another.

So first of all choose your dimensions and background (I'm using a white one and a 500x300).

Next we'll select 2 photos to blend in each other.

And now we'll drag the first picture in.

After you drag them, you click on the rectangular square(or just him M on the keyboard), and right click on the image and select free transform tu adjust it how you prefer.

Next we'll drag the second picture and use the same method of resizeing as with the first one, but this time we'll cover only 3/4 of the whole picture.

Now, you will select layer 2(photo nr2), and click the button next tu fx at the bottom right, named "add a layer mask".

After that, select the layer mask, and than select the gradient button at the left. Make sure to put black->transparent and linear gradient.

Select from the start of the second photo, till about 3/4 of it. Of course, I used that to obtain about half of it, but you cand blend it how much you want.

    And you're all done :D

Thank you, and see you next week.

    WEEK 2

Hi everyobdy, this week I'll teach you how to cut something out of a picture.

So, let's open up a image, I'll use a wallpaper with my favorite team, Steaua Bucharest.

There are various ways in cutting a part from a picture, I'll show you the method I use(and personally think that its the best)

Next, we'll zoom in the image, by simply click the zoom button(or press Z on your keyboard)

Now you'll have to click around the space you want to cut( I want the logo to be taken off), and slowly cover all over it. Another thing you can do for rounded edges, you click in one spot, click in another, then click in the middle of that line. Hold CTRL and click in the middle spot(without letting go), move it around untill you cover what you need.(this is essential)

After you did all the logo, click on "paths", then on the third option in the bottom row, the dotted circle :))

Now there are 2 options, you can delete that portion of the image, or single it out, maybe use it in another picture. So to single it out, you have to select "the marque tool"(or press M on your keyboard), right click on the logo and click "select inverse" and "delete" on your keyboard. Usually the color in the background(after you have deleted it), will be the one selected in the bottom left. So, if you want it to be a render(so you can paste it into another image), after you delete the background(and still have it selected), press "E" and make a line in the background, then delete it again. If all done well, the background will be only white and gray squares, then you will have to save it as a .PNG file(the easiest way to re-use it in another picture)

And to delete the portion you want, you select it, and click delete, and again the background color will be the one selected at the bottom left, in that case do the same as in the previous nr.( or just make a new layer, right click on it, click fill, and make a color you want, then you can edit it in any way you like)

So here are the 2 results you can achieve by following this tutorial :

Thank you, and see you next week. :)

    WEEK 3

Hi everybody, this week I'll teach you how to make a cool and basic avatar.

First of all make a new image in 150x250 dimensions.

Next, lets make a copy of the background layer, and name it "gradient". To duplicate, right click the layer and hit "duplicate layer".

Now, right click the "gradient" layer and select blending option, then gradient overlay, select the gradient and change the colors to the ones in the image(note* you can use any color you want), and hit ok.

After that, click "inner glow", then set the opacity to 31% and the color to all white or ffffff, and hit ok.

Now create a new layer, select the brush tool(or press B), select the foreground to white and set the flow to 65%, and color in some places.

Right click the new layer, hit blending options, and click pattern overlay(there is a possibility that you do not have the brushes that I have, and that means you have to download a pack for them, that can be easily found on google), then select a pattern. After that click "color overlay" and select the color to be white and blend mode "exclusion".

Next, hit blending options:custom and blend mode to exclusion as well, and opacity to 73%(optionally you could delete some parts and add any extra patterns anywhere on the image), and click ok.

Now, we'll add an image(for me is a wallpaper with battlefield), and drag it over ours, then right click, select free transform, and mode it how you'd like it.

After you did the resizing, click blending options, blend options:default, and blend mode to overlay.

Now as a final touch, we'll add some text. Make a new layer, select the text option(or press T), and drag a box where you'd want it. Right, now select blending mode to overlay, and click stroke, the color black and opacity 19%, and click ok.

After following this tutorial, you can achieve this :

Thank you, and see you next week.

Wow nice. Looking forward to what you come up with in the past. I like how you have images to go with everything it helps me a lot rather than just trying to read and figure everything out.

    WEEK 4

Hi guys, this week I'll teach you how to make a basic userbar.

Firstly, lets make a new document, and set the size to 350x19.

Now, we'll select the gradient tool(button G), linear gradient and color black to light blue.

After that, click from the beginning of the image(left), till a little more than the middle.

Now, create a new layer, select the marque tool(button M), and select the whole image; right click, select fill, color, and select color white.

Right click the layer, select blending options, blend mode darken, select stroke, and make the position "inside", the color black, size 1 and opacity 29%.

Select the marque tool, and click the eliptical one. Now try to draw one as the one I did, basicaly start a little above the userbar, and end it till you have the right size.

Now, make a new layer, right click, fill, color white and ok. Make the opacity of the new layer 18%.

Finally, we'll add some text. New layer, select the text tool(button T), and click in the area you want it. You'll need the "Visitor TT1 BRK" font, and select the text size 20.75. Right click the layer, and make the blend mode to soft light and hit ok.

This is the result you can achieve by following this tutorial :

Thank you, and see you next week.

Good to see you again :), sorry for posting this tutorial a day later, but I've been busy with school lately,

This week(or last week:)) ), I'll be teaching you several basic things about photoshop.

Number 1 : How to make round corners.

Make a new document(500x400),make a new layer, select the marque tool(M), and drag it around the image(like I did), right click, fill:history, and select white; now select "refine edge"(up), and make them exactly like I did.

Now make the "background" layer invisible, by clicking the little eye on the left of it.

I've made a inside stroke to layer 1, just so you can see it better :)

Remember, you can play with those adjustments from "refine edge" as much as you want, I just wanted to show you a basic combination.

Number 2 : How to make a gradient and a inside stroke.

Make a new document(150x250), select the gradient tool(G), make it a linear one, and from black to blue color.

Now drag it from the bottom, till around 3/4 of the whole image.

Duplicate the background layer, right click it, click blending option, stroke, and set the values like mine, and click ok.

Again, you can use what colors you want, and how many gradients you want:)

    Number 3 : How to rotate/resize a image

Make a new document(500x500), and add a image. Now right click, and select transform.

    (1) - If you click anywhere outside the photo, you can rotate it 360 degrees.
    (2) - If you click on those squares, you can resize it(a trick to inverse the image, would be to click the left square, and drag it all the way beyond the right one)

That's about it for that week.

Also guys, if you want, you can pm me, or post here suggestions for tutorials, because frankly I'm running out of ideas. You can post as many ideas as you want, and I'll try to do my best to explain them(if I know how to).
