Thread: AP (Trace a person) tut

Introduction
This is old TAP tut made by HoaX... I wrote a update for it back then, so why not share it with you guys, right? It isn't anything spectacular (I don't want to share best tricks), but it can help if you're new in this. Tracing people is extremely easy. Everybody has info online. You just need to find it.

Profile
I made this while I was tracing. From experience I know it's better to make one straight away. Here is my template for a profile. This is VERY good way to keep things organized.

(IF you find some of his/her friends REPEAT all info-fields about them too! It may be useful later!)

When you find something, you write it in his or her profile. When you are done you can easily read it and give it to people.

How to start
Start with creating a profile. More about this in the next chapter. A profile is very important! Then try to ask for info. Just go ahead and ask for msn, e-mail, website, anything you can get may be helpful. But when you want to trace a hacker don't ask for his e-mail, ask for MSN. Don't skip this, this part is pretty important and it's easy so why would you skip it?

Use your best friend
Your best friend in hacking also is your best friend in tracing. Google. By now you should already have some things in the profile. Copy these things (one by one) into Google. Search the pages for more information. Don't give up, I have had cases where the first 20 pages were useless but the 21th page gave me everything. When you find something, put it in the profile.

Once you searched everything, your profile should be more complete.

Here are some tips for this part:
Use double quotes in Google. This will search for an exact match to whatever is in between. For example: "First_name Surname".
Also learn other Google commands.
Use cache when the page is deleted. Use cache also if you want to see information in protected sites. Most of them don't have Google robot protection, so cache will help you in that cases.
Use other search engines as well (don't limit yourself to Google).
If you get a lot of results, try putting 2 things from the profile in search engine.
Think of what the page looks like, and search for it. For example: username profile.

Use you second best friend
Yes, a tracer has got a second best friend too. Phone books. They are great! They can help you in these ways:
-You got phone books where you fill in name, and they give you phone number and address.
-You got reversed search. You fill in phone number and they give you name and address.



Tips:
-You can find out the carrier. (for spamming).
-To find them, use google. Search for: phonebook australia or whatever...

Use your third best friend
Wow, even a third friend. This is WHOIS. Whois finds out information about websites like name, email, phone number. Of course this requires the victim to have a website. You could use Whois lookup and Domain name search or any other similar site.

Tips
-Keep adding stuff to your profile. Add everything you find, you don't know if you need it later.
-Train. Gain experience. Do my exercises
-When you get their emails, google them. After you went through, google their email without the @sdfbgsfdhigb.uf, this can be a username, or your victim tries to hide email like victim (at) jfhfd.jd, you will still find him this way.
- Learn how to obtain your victim IP - use fake pages with IP logger, or tracking e-mail or something that you can send them & get IP back... I will not go in details here - find method that works best for your victim. What can you do with their IP? Well, if you're lucky maybe is public fixed IP - that sure will make your job easier later. How? Heh, that's another story - maybe for another tutorial, LOL? :grin:
- If you know their soul mate info, try to fool them if you're missing some key information about your victim. Any obtained information about them can be useful for further finding missing info. How to pull this out? For example, you could do something like this: use some cookie stealer & send link to your victim's soul mate or his/her friends /if we're talking about GF here, in most cases it will result with 100% success, LOL/ - then login to his/her social sites - FB/MS/?? are great for this - and then simply search for your missing primary victim info.
- I mostly hate to use them, but password stealer can really help here - if you know your victim e-mail & his/her soul mate e-mail (BEST SCENARIO) or even his/her friend e-mail (STILL OK), you can send some spoofed e-mail containing password stealer in the attachment.
- Always have one fake accounts for: MSN / social networks / e-mail / etc. Always ask your victim to add you (of course: your fake accounts) using excuse like: "Sorry, I gotta go ASAP - add me @ account_info. Very easy to do, very useful later!
- Victim avatars / signatures pictures can also be very useful! If you have any pic of your victim, try to google its link also! Your victim may have different usernames but same avatar/signature!



Exercise 1
Here is your first one. Try to trace yourself. This is easy. Try tracing yourself with a phonebook and with google. When you are done look at your profile about yourself and you know if you are safe. Probably not.

This can make your profile more complete, but it does require a name or phone number.

Exercise 2
Try to track down your GF / BF / W / H / best friend, but starting only from 2 piece of info: for example e-mail & IM.
