Great tutorial Hakeem.

I've been hunting for a seedbox for a week or so now and based on your thoughts / reviews i went for the 'power' version at $30 a month. Looking forward to using it.

DuBzaH, coincidently i ordered mine last night at approx 12am, i've had the emails and my status is still pending also, i am guessing that they don't work weekends and will action on Monday (although i could be completley wrong). Can anyone confirm if they work weekends?

Nice guide for beginners Hakeem (Repped you for it). Might want to mention in 5) that if you do start seeding "50 torrents" it will just eat your BW limit that much quicker and not really help your ratio on one concentrated tracker unless they are all on the same tracker and a small file. Centerhalf and DubZah if you have received your login details-IP address and password- you should be able to log into your server. I might possibly be able to fit one more person in a slot once I get my box set up, hopefully by this evening or early tomorrow morning. Will have to see how the speeds are going to be with the possible users that will want a slot now. No bandwidth limit either but I will limit active torrents so everyone will have very good speeds.

Hi, thanks for the reply. I haven't received any I.P address yet only my login which is my email address and my password. So I suppose I'll wait till Monday, then if the status is still pending drop them an email.

I ordered mine on a weekend and it took a little longer than advertised but I got it on the weekend.

Great to see people are stepping up to seedboxes (your ratio will thank you). Please be sure to share your experiences (good and bad) in the seedbox reviews and the other forums. If you want any other tutorials that you think would help a lot of people out just let me know.

My status is still pending and it's been about 24 hours since I've ordered but I suppose it's the weekend.

Hakeem did they provide you with an I.P so you could connect to your seedbox? because atm I only have my login for the http://www.torrentswift.com/clients. Cheers.

Second, is it possible to use the seedbox as a proxy to hide my IP address from the tracker?
