Alright so I'm under the impression that not enough people know about this.
It's quite simple, but can potentially save people hours of right clicking and unraring :001_tongue:
Heres an example:
Assume you just downloaded a humongous 5 zillion gig movie pack.
Excited to watch a movie you go to the movie folder.
To your dismay you see a buncha rar files.
You go to the next movie folder and great, more rar files.
How do you fix this with just a couple clicks??
First open up WinRAR archiver.
Should look something like this.
Within WinRAR, navigate to the folder filled with the folders that contain rar files.
Hit Ctrl+A to select all, or select the folders that contain the files you want to unrar.
Now right click, and hit Extract to the specified folder.
It will now Search for archive files within all the folders you selected.
Next the dialog box seen below will pop up.
Choose where you want all the nice and simple files to go (your rar-free haven)
I chose C:\BIG PACK but you can choose anything. The default is a folder within the main folder.
So if the movie pack you downloaded is Angelina.Jolie.Collection.DVDRip.XviD then it will make another folder within that folder with the same name and put all the .avi, .mkv, .iso etc files inside the rar into that folder.
Now just hit OK and let it work. Depending on the size it could take a few seconds or a few DAYS lol.
Once it's done navigate to the "specified" folder and voila all your movies files are there waiting to be viewed
Hope this helps someone!!
Let me know if it did.
