I will try to re-install it and try again; I may "clean" the registry too. I will post tomorrow my results.

Hopefully that isn't the case as I renewed mine 2 days ago and it worked fine. I have 28 days remaining.

I would hope so, since all we're really doing is showing people how to activate the beta, not actually cracking the program.

Hey Dan, I'm experiencing some problems, I'm sure your method is fantastic but maybe I'm doing something wrong. Firstly i have KIS 2010.

I followed all your steps until:
You now have the option to "Activate beta version", so check that box.

Though i think the problem is with the .bat file you told us about. When do i use that exactly as i haven't used it. Am i supposed to do that directly after i install KIS 2010 or before or at the end of the hack?

Hmm, that's the same problem as OkIwont is having above... maybe they finally did close this loophole and I just got in at the last minute. I would delete my key file and try to re-activate it but I'm not game unless it doesn't work anymore lol.

You don't really need to use the .bat file, all the file does is change the registry value to "=beta" instead of "=retail", if you check the path in the registry and can see that it says beta then it has been changed correctly. Another way to tell is if in the main KIS window it says "!!! NOT FOR SALE !!!" in the middle at the top. If it does it means you have activated the beta correctly, if not, post and ill help you through it.

This method worked great for me until now. I think they fixed this, I just deleted my license hoping to renew for another one when I got "Key file or activation code is blocked." Lets hope another one of these loopholes open up again.

Damn, I even get key file blocked for my beta key now. Looks like they finally fixed this loophole, what a shame, its been working for 3 years now.

Hi all, I have been using kaspersky without any problem. There is a resetter which is available. So that when the trial period ends the resetter resets all the registry entries so that again i can activate the trial license for 30 days through their activation server.

I use the sandip75 method. I'm not worried about the keys anymore.
