Thread: Split Rar Solution!!

For all of you who are sick of split rar's (me included), heres a quick tutorial on how to get rid of them!

First, download FileMenuTools.
It's a great app that adds plenty of things to your context menu, and even some nice icons to the old ones.
Apart from letting you shred files, and do some advanced work it even lets you create your own context menu.

In this tutorial you will learn how to use FMT to add a button to your context menu that will get rid of all the rar, r01, r02 etc.. files in a folder.

After installing FMT open it up and click edit > Add command.

Click on new command and enter in this info in the panel to the bottom left.


After your done click the green checkmark to the upper left.
Now close FMT and give it a go.

Either right click a folder or anywhere inside a folder (except on a file).
Navigate to FileMenuTools and then SplitRar Killer.


Click on it and then hit yes when asked if you'd like to continue.
It will delete them all.

Thats all, your done :laugh:

Also if you'd like you can get rid of sfv and nfo files by adding them to the file types.
Instead of *.r?? you can do *.r??;*.nfo;*.sfv

Joking...very good tut. I would surely use if I downloaded more split files. Can you share how you made some of the items in your context menu - I'd like to know how 'Delete and no move to recycle bin' works.

Edit: Script comes with your program pre-made.
