Default How To Increase Your uTorrent Speed

Open uTorrent and follow these screenshots for optimal settings

Click apply and ok. Now follow these screenshot if you want some more speed.
Select the file, then right click, we'll be allocating more resources to µTorrent.
You might experience some browsing lag after this, so keep it to "normal" if it don't suits your needs.

Congratulations! You have just tweaked µTorrent to get the best speeds

Thanks for the tutorial, but to be honest, it is a LOT more complicated than that.

And changing the bandwidth allocation does not do what you say. All that does is tell uTorrent to send more upload allocation to specific torrents, it does absolutely nothing for download. On top of that, it does nothing for upload either unless you have specified uTorrent to limit your upload speed. If you have your upload limit to unlimited, it does nothing.

If I just confused you, look at it this way. Lets say you have 100kb/s as your upload cap, and have 3 torrents seeding. You can set each one of them to high, normal, and low. What this will do is give the torrent sent to high 60kb/s, medium torrent with 30kb/s, and low torrent 10kb/s (these are guesstimated speeds I'm not sure exactly what each would get, but you get the idea). In a nutshell it is a priority system for your seeding torrents, period.
