    Hey Guys,

I have decided to write up this tutorial after helping out afew guys here set up SCC download scripts on their seedboxes. This will work with utorrent and rtorrent but tweaking is needed. I will provide this in the rTorrent tutorial soon. I reccomend using this over the Mirc scripts because its alot faster and runs directly off the box.

Note: This will only work on linux systems and you will need access to SSH.

First you will need the script file. I have edited this script to download all freeleech mp3's, freeleech packs up to 60GB (You can edit the size), All popular TV shows, PC and xbox games as these will give you the best ratios.

Download script here and save it to your user's home folder: http://www.mediafire.com/?wnm5huyn2dz

There are 2 things that you will need to do with this file.
    1. Edit the path for the script to download the torrents to.
    This will be /home/*USER*/watch
Replace *USER* with the username on your box. Dont worry if you dont have that watch folder as we will make that later on in the tutorial.

    2. Insert your passkey (Note: The passkey that is needed can be found by clicking on any torrent in SCC and right clicking on the Download SSH and copying that link.)

Now onto Irssi. To do this you will need to connect via SSH. Once connected you will need to install irssi.

    sudo apt-get install irssi
This will prompt you for your password. Enter it and the install will begin.

Once you have done this you will need to create a folder for irssi to put the torrent files in by entering the following.

    mkdir watch
That will create a folder called watch in your home directory.
    /home/*USER*/watch

Now after all of this has been done you can move onto setting up uTorrent for this script.

The only settings that need to be changed have been highlighted in the screenshots below.

Once you have done all these steps you are almost finished.

With SCC all users have a bot vhost set up for them and i will show you how to connect, set your username and run the script.

From putty or terminal if you are using a remote desktop client type the following.

    Screen irssi -c irc.sceneaccess.org
/set nick USER-bot -Replace USER with your SCC username (Note: You will only need to do this once)
    /msg nickserv identify *SCC Nickname*
/run /*USER*/admin/scc.pl -This will show a message saying script has been loaded
    /join scc-announce

Once that has all been done press CTRL+A+D and this will bring you back to a normal putty/terminal screen.

    To resume the screen

    screen -r
Sit back and watch your torrents upload automatically :D

If there are any questions with this or any adjustments needed just post here and ill update it.

ps make sure you suspend your nx client (if using) when closing out or the scc script will be stoped

I got both IRSSI and pyWHATauto to work with SCC on my shared Feral slot without root access. Anyone interested in a tutorial and if that's the case, should I focus on IRSSI or the python script PYWA?

I would be interested in the tut for IRSSI, specifically for SCC. I don't have a feral slot, but I am interested in your solution without root.

Right from installing IRSSI or do you already have IRSSI installed?

It would be for installing and setting up it that is possible. I think I could ask my provider to install it for me, not 100% sure on that, but I would like to know how to do it if it is possible( with no root access)
