    How To: Archive Files With Password

    If you want to keep your important files in safe, this tutorial will show you how to put files in a archive with password.

    You Need:
    - WinRar Archive Utility ( You can download it from Here )

    We have that we want to archive with password (example: "file1.xls"; "file2.doc"; "file3.txt")



    Note: Must have all files in a folder ( it's easier)

    How To Archive Files Normally:
    Step 1: Select all files then "Right Click -> Add to Archive"


    Step 2: You will get something like this:

    It say's the name of the archive tat you are creating. (you can name it as you want)

    Step 3: Press "Ok" button and you will have the archive located in same folder with files.


    How To Archive Files With Password:
    Step 1: Select all files then "Right Click -> Add to Archive"


    Step 2: You will get something like this:


    Step 3: Click on "Avanced" tab in top of the pop-up box:

    Step 3.1: Then press "Set Password...", set your password and press "Ok".

    Step 3.2: Press "Ok" and you will have your archive with password in same folder with files.


    Step 4: Done, you have you files "password archived". When you try to access a file from archive you must enter your password.
