Thread: The best method to check if your antivirus is working properly or not.

I hate to open a can of worms, but it should be stressed that this only confirms your A/V realtime scanning is operating. A/V apps are basically useless unless you're just completely not a computer person. And, unfortunately, those types of users are the ones that don't update their definitions frequently enough or disable their A/V because the virus asks them to first...
