    Default How to create walkthroughs with step by step screen shots with ease using MS PSR.exe

    You will need to be running Windows 7 or Server 2008 (MS Problem Step Recorder is inbuilt)

    I use this alot at work for documenting and creating walkthroughs, IMHO its useful and worth knowing if you dont already know it :)

    1. Start-->Run-->PSR or Windows Key + R -->PSR (Problem Step Recorder)

    2. If you have less than 25 steps you dont need to change the default setting, if more follow the below (the max screenshots recorded is 100)

    Step 2.png

    3. Click Start on PSR --> perform the steps of your walkthrough (It is worth using the pause button if you get side tracked, trust me lol) -->click stop and Save to your chosen location

    step 4.png

    4. Open the .zip and you have step by step screenshots. I just use Paint to edit/crop the images (Windows Key & R --> mspaint). I think its a quick and methodical way of creating nice, concise walkthroughs
