Being cautious in selecting invitees is very helpful I'm sure, but on the rare occasion you do find you invited someone who is not handling their new accout well what is the best course of action? Has anyone had to contact a site regarding someone they invited?

    thx
If let's say you've invited a person to a few sites and he/she cheated on one of them, or if you found out elsewhere that he/she cheated/is cheating, I think it will be best to report to the trackers that you gave an invite to.

Also note that you will be giving a possibly untrustworthy individual very personal information like your IP and pass key. So you will have to do your own checks on your inviter following darktorrent's tutorial.

    Thanks for the info!

Just curious even if I get that link I would think they still would not be able to see my passkey and IP correct ? I thought that only shows up when I look at it since I am logged in myself but if someone else from the tracker looks at it they only see basic info unless they are admin of course?

    Thanks again! =:o)
I know that you just started and have not been repped in yet, but one of the golden rule here is never to swap invites like trading, if they find out you will be permanently banned. Just an advice.

Oh!, i didn't realize that you can't swap on here

Yeah i just read that part of the rulez only moments ago

    fair enough though

    thanks for letting me know

PS: I am more than happy to give invite codes away for nothing in return but most people are not so generous, so i don't see this kind of non-swapping invite site being very successful, but then again i could be wrong, i don't no whos giving to whom and the percentages i suppose

it would be interesting to find out though.

    cheers! mate :o)

Are there any sites that will warn you if you don't use your invites? I don't recall any rules stating this, but was curious.

Also is it against the rules to ask someone to do a ratio proof differently than it states in the T-I rules?

there are maybe few trackers who remove your invites if you don't use them, but haven't heard about warning. regarding proof, there is a proper way of editing proofs mentioned in area 51. Invite Giveaway Guide so why do you wanna ask it in a different way :)

Because in the rules it states to put your name and date in the address bar - in this tutorial and in the invite sections, many giveaways ask for the inviters name and date in the address bar.

when you are preparing a ratio proof for an introduction, the only name you can put in address bar is your TI username. but when it comes to requesting invites, the inviter might ask to put his/her TI username in address bar for just to make sure that your proofs are up to date and other security stuff.

I'm one of the paranoid users, but I think I'd feel like a jerk asking them to give proofs with different themes. I may just have to do it though...thanks for the idea.
