....or the great NNscript.
In this tutorial I will show you what NNscript can do.
First of all you download it from here
and you`ll need to have mirc 6.34 installed as in part one of this tutorial here
ok, you have mIRC installed, you have downloaded NNscript, you should see this icon now:![]()
Press it and let`s start !!
GO -> Tools -> Options -> Servers
and create your servers that you`d like to join, servers of your trackers:
Note: I write them with austirc to be close one with each other, not to stay long to look for them. It`s my own idea..
Perform it will also help you join channels with your name registered:
To register a nick for a specific tracker you have a simple command:
STEP 1: you write your nick that you want (in general it has to be the same nick as the site username. If you use Veritas on site, you`ll use in irc Veritas too), so write like this: /nick Veritas
STEP 2: /msg nickserv register password (yourpassword here) email (your email here)
STEP 3 now you should be registered and no one can hi-jack your username or use it without your pass. ;)
Now let`s go back to Perform command:
How to add a server to your perform window:
austirc sever for ex:
and you can do the same with all the servers that you want to join. It will be better if you open a notepad to write down all the servers and passwords for all the trackers that you wanna go in irc. It might be useful after an windows re-installation.
Now with NNscript:
Now, you should repeat this step with all the servers that you have and you`ll be ready to go, with just one click you`ll join all the servers that you need:
NOTE: There might be some servers that use SSL so you`ll have to download it from here
and enable it for the server that requires it as in:
That should be all. For anything else write it down here as I`m not the perfect script user and there are more, way more things that might help and I`m not aware of them !!!
PS: If you are to copy this tutorial on other site(s) please give credit to Veritas @ TI.com
Cheers !!!
