Thread: How to locate your rep count

You know, I have spent the last several days going through parts of the site to try and find my rep count, I had seen it once when I first started but since then I had no clue where it was that I went.

I even searched the forums but I couldn't find the proper place to go to view my rep, well I finally stumbled upon it again so I thought hey why not right a quick tutorial for this in case other users are confused like I once was.

Forgive me if this is posted somewhere already.



1. To locate your rep, click the "Forum" link at the top next to "Home"
2. Click the "User CP" link on the top menu just below the "Home Forum" menu.
3. The very bottom right hand side of the page will display your rep count, example "3 point(s) total" and below that will be a list of the latest users who have given you some sort of rep increase!

This, is stickied in the "Help" section. If you were trying to up your rep count this way quickly, that's not going to work, infact it might even get you reported.

Nope, wasn't trying to improve my rep by helping other users out...

As far as it being stickied in the help section, I do see that now that you mentioned it however it is berried in the F.A.Q, a quick search for "how to locate your rep" turned up nothing...

Honestly, I cannot see how this could even get anyone banned. First off I am quite thorough with all of my posts, and secondly this is a TUTORIAL section and thus I thought I would post something actually helpful and something that would turn up on a quick search, since I was not able to find it until you stated that it was in the Help section I think this would probably help the average user out who is new to this site, or even this type of forum system.

I am not asking for a thanks, I am not asking for any rep for this, I am simply trying to help and improve the community. If you have an issue with that then please go ahead and report this to a mod and I would be more then happy to discuss it with them. Otherwise if you don't have anything nice to say, then try keeping it shut.

I don't believe this tut exists, really. You missed the help section doesn't mean others have.

If it was rude or annoying, sure, but something as small as this, no need to get narky over it :)

with the new layout, you now have to go into 'settings' in the top bar ^^^ to see your reps.
