It's probably worth adding that What.CD and BTN invites are not allowed to be given or requested on T-I. Have a look here fore a discussion related to this topic: [ http://www.torrent-invites.com/help/...ites-rule.html ].
Hello everybody!
I'm a new-comer here, but I'm very surprise for the good management and the rule of this site, not like others.
Wish all people could follow the rule, and yes, everyone can happy!
And, so sorry, is this considered as spam? I just want to give my oppinion and, if I still don't understand any part of the guide, may I have any question?
I'm trying to learn the rules but this is so new to me and I don't even have much of a clue about how to post in forums since I’ve only posted like twice before to ask a question on a help site. I’ve already spent several hours just reading in the help and tutorial areas here but there’s still a lot I don't understand so I apologize in advance if I do something wrong--please know that it wasn't intentional.
I just want to get some clarification regarding usage of the "Thanks" button. After I was Repped in, I wanted to express my gratitude to Choppers for the rep and for the links to the forum rules to help me get started. I happily clicked on the “thanks button” and would have even posted a reply to reiterate my gratefulness but I was feeling a bit lazy and decided to skip the reply. And yikes, I’m glad I did because right after that I learned that members must be at 33% or higher before giving Rep or Thanks and also, that you’re not supposed to post or reply to say thanks because that’s what the button is for.
But I’m still a bit confused because it seemed to say that those buttons wouldn’t be available till a person reaches 33%. So was it probably just a glitch in the system that enabled my thanks button or have the rules been changed to allow the newbies to say thanks? And is there anything I need to do to fix my error so I don’t get in trouble?
Finally, just one more question… is there anyone who wouldn’t mind too much if I sent a PM to ask a few questions on occasion or is that something I shouldn’t do? I understand the value of having to put forth effort in order to learn and advance in any system of society & I have honestly spent a great deal of time the last 2 days just reading in the forums—that’s why it’s taken me this long to post for the first time since my introduction. So I am not looking for someone to give me all the answers, I could just use a little friendly advice.
Yup very cool to have a TL;DR for the main rules like this. The links made it super easy to go and find the full version to get clarification on the seedboxes bit, top effort mate.
Great summary man. Definitely a post/tutorial new users should be directed to early in their stay here at TI.
janebond008: For all those small questions I found the people in the irc channel very helpful, I would definitely recommend joining up there.
Edit: Oops. Probably should start checking the dates of the previous replies before i reply, my bad.![]()

Thanks for putting the effort into making this very helpful list of those especially important rules.
I think it's great to bring them back to your mind and refreshing your knowledge about those most important ones. If more detail is needed the links to the original threads help a lot in saving time looking for a specific topic.
It's very important though to read the rules entirely at first, to understand them correctly and putting them into context. Later on this is a great thread for quick reference.
