This tutorial will teach you a method on detecting if an image has been edited with photoshop.
It is especially useful for us because the constant threat of ratio-cheaters editing their ratio.
First find our image.
Heres an example of a file that I've photoshopped just for reference.
If you'd like to follow along you can download this image to your desktop.
Ok so the only program you really need for this is a Hex Editor.
I'll be using HxD in this tutorial, as it's free and great.
Here's the link to download that. Just choose your language.

Download and install it.
Then open up the program and hit File > Open and navigate to the file you'd like to investigate.
If you look in the upper right of that previous image you'll see the words "Photoshop".
This file has been edited with photoshop.
Heres a closer look:
You can alternatively search for the words Photoshop by going to Search > Find.
I thought this would be a nice addition to the tutorials especially since it's relevant to our website.
I expect to see more additions to the chopping block :laugh:.
Of course remember though, it's always possible that the user used photoshop to paste the screenshot rather than MSPaint or similar.
However, it's unlikely because mspaint is so much quicker to open and use in this scenario.
Also it's better to ask for profile links before actually taking action in the chopping block or informing a Moderator.
