Thread: Help and Advice on iGiver

Good Day to all,
I'm new here and i wanted to know more about the iGiver system
I hope some senior members or Admins would be able to clarify and explain some of the pointers.



From what i know based on the thread "How to give iGiver" by Ghost it explains how the giver gives to the intended recipient. iGiver is reflected as "feedback" in the users profile page indicating his performance on the site.

But i'm having a slight dilemma about what the recipient should do after receiving an iGiver?

• Should i return one back?
• There's also this option under the option column at the feedback portion "submit feedback for this deal"; what is this about?
• Should i click this? How will this affect the giver?
• If yes?; What should by feedback to the giver be based on?

I hope i'm not overwhelming anyone with questions but i would like to clarify these pointers. I hope this will also benefit some people who might be having the same thoughts as i am.

Ok firstly. No you do not nor should you ever return an Igiver back. They are only to be given after you have received an invite or bonus (make sure the bonus qualifies first tho)
Edit: it's fine to do.

Submit Feedback. This site used to allow trading and the submit feedback would've been for that. For example if the trade was completed without any dramas it would have been a good feedback etc. Trade went bad then negative feedback...
However as trading is no longer allowed (thank god) submit feedback has no use anymore, so no you shouldn't submit any feedback at all.
Hope that clears it up for you a bit.

PS so you are aware, this should have been posted in the help section, not tutorial.

Actually I provide iGivers to my invitees all the time. Negative iGivers if they have a horrible ratio or do not use the account (collectors). I also provide positive iGivers if they donate to the tracker and/or have exceptional ratios.

Either way, the invitee has to earn the iGiver. I do NOT automatically give them out.

i dont think that this is acceptable.
igivers are only be given by u when u recieve an invite and are recieved when u give an invite.
for any other reason the reputation is available.

Is it possible for me to remove an iGiver sent by other members? I make a GA bonus threads and I have clearly stated that the bonus receiver should not give me any iGiver because that could be considered as cheating. I don't want to be banned because of my GAs. Could anyone help me teach how to do it? Thanks..
