Thread: Ratio Proof Tips

Most members here already know what ratio proofs are and how to go about asking for them,but there are a few different ways.The first way is a profile link which is the most reliable but you may not always have an account at the trackers the other person gives you links for.The second way is screenshots,this way is unreliable for the fact that they can be faked or stolen.Here are a few tips to help members when getting proofs.


Profile Links Tips
This is how I suggest members here get proofs,if you follow the tips below you can be sure the person has an account at a tracker where they maintain a good ratio.

1. Get profile links to multiple trackers.

2. Send the person a PM at the tracker,if it's really their account they can respond or tell you what the PM said.

3. If possible check the persons comments and forum posts at the trackers,you can tell a lot about the person but what they post.

Screenshots Tips
I don't recommend using this method but in some cases you might not be able to check profile links if you don't have the same trackers.

1. Get the person to take multiple screenshots of their whole desktop with browser open so you can see that the desktop is the same in each pic.

2. Get the person to type your name in the browsers searchbox or url box.

3. Get the person to have a tab for the giveaway or request open in their browser.
