Thread: How to: Join Torrent-Invites IRC and IRC Rules

That's nice. I left a new key at my home pc. So, I had a hard time to find one. thanks God for this post since i got the twenty four hours shift and now i can access the T-I irc channel.

I'm probably being an idiot, but I've registered mirc and payed for it.
Should I use the full channel name, including the 'general chat' part.
It actually connects when I do that, but there's never anyone there.

I have a problem, I made a mistake while trying to register my nickname

I used this command --> /msg NickServ register password your@email.com

I wrote wrong e-mail adress --> instead ****@gmail.com I wrote ***@e-mail.com so I've apparently registered my nickname to an unexisting e-mail...

I tried to register again but it says --> This nick has already been registered, please check your e-mai address for the pass code

can somebody please reset or cancel my faulty registration ?

What do you mean?

Listen, when u open mIRC it will appear a white empty window right?
U only have to copy paste this one at a time and in this specific order:

1) /server irc.austirc.net:6667
2) /nickserv identify youregisterpassword
3) /join #torrent-invites redzonetorrent

If you dont have a registered nick:

1) /server irc.austirc.net:6667
2) /nick youTInick
3) /nickserv register thepassworduwant youremail
4) /nickserv identify thepassworduchoosein3)
5) /join #torrent-invites redzonetorrent

That is going to have to be an actual Oper of the server itself, Try joining #Help and ask about a wrong e-mail, they can usually redirect the registration key or just set it up for you there.

Hmm I am also having problems joining. It says im banned from using the #Torrent-Invites channel, however, I've only logged onto the IRC maybe once or twice.

try a client instead of mibbit

The proper password for the channel is: Redzonetorrent (with a capital r)
--> to join the chan type
/j #Torrent-Invites Redzonetorrent

Could a mod update the first post?
It took me some time myself to find out that the password has changed

pretty cool althogh I able to get on irc channel unable 2 join competition due 2 insufficent rep points will come back when I get another 5 points
