There is a key on the IRC channel again (redzonetorrent) and I think we should lay down some rules so you don't find yourself being banned from the chat. (/join #torrent-invites redzonetorrent)

IRC Rules
+ You must be repped into T-I before joining the main channel (#torrent-invites)
+ Do not join IRC and ask to be repped into the site.
+ Only ask for invites in #invites (/join #invites) You are no longer allowed to ask for invites in IRC!
+ You must use your forum username (type /nick forumname)
+ Do not flood the channel
+ Swearing is discouraged
+ No spamming of other sites
+ There is a vip channel, pm PrimusLord to be added so you can join. (/msg chanserv invite #torrent-invites-vip)
+ Do not argue with mods or channel ops
+ Do not ask for voice or op
+ Changing to somebody elses nick to impersonate them will get your banned
+ Do not flame other members if they ask you not to
+ You can connect via secure proxies & tor networks

To Join the server and channels:
Server address: irc.austirc.net:6667 / +6697 for SSL
Click this link (Mirc users)

It is a locked channel and you need a registered nickname to join it, USE THE SAME NAME IN IRC AS YOU USE IN THE FORUM so we know who you are, and make sure you use a real email address to register because the server requires validation, change password to a password of your choice.

To register your nickname: /msg NickServ register password your@email.com

Once you get the registration email, copy and paste this bit into mIRC.

/msg NickServ confirm <random code>

Now you are registered and validated you can join the IRC channel.

/join #Torrent-Invites redzonetorrent
Once your nickname is registered you may also create a vhost to protect the identity of your IP/Ho***ame. AUSTIRC - Request a VHost (http://www.austirc.net/)
