My Guide To Getting Any Tracker You Want (On T-I) - PART 2

Part 4 - Getting Started With Private Trackers:
Depending on your internet connection & time, i like to think that you have two different methods of getting started with private trackers:
1) This is what i did Personally, i decided to sign up for several open private trackers and build up my ratios there and earn invites. My plan for the future was to give away the accounts with large buffers as i received invites for the higher level trackers. I signed up for around 20 private trackers and got to work. Phasing some out as i received invites here and giving away invites as much as i could! I downloaded as much freeleech as i could find and then the content that i really wanted myself which had many leechers.
2) An alternative is to focus on a few private trackers that perhaps you know are slightly more sought after (in terms of their invites). An example of this would be VIPMusic, STMusic, BitGamer and Nordic-T perhaps. This may be a good idea if you have a slower internet connection. Although with many tracker accounts you will give away more invites in total, there are certain private trackers such as these above that you will very easily be able to receive an invite yourself for or find open. Yet, there is a constant flow of people looking for invites on here, so you wont have a problem giving them away.
To find these open private trackers you can do several things:
1) Check the last few pages of this thread on T-I to see which private trackers are open:

2) Use these websites which automatically check which private trackers are open for signups:

3) Download this program which checks for open signups for you at regular intervals or whenever you demand. It is called Torrents Open Registration Checker. (You can input your own trackers for it to check and also use the ones provide):

4) Search google and other search engines for the URLs of private trackers and try to signup or find information about which trackers are open
To find invites you simply need to check the "Give Invites" forum section here at T-I and apply for what you would like. Your next step is to continue being a good user here, working hard to give away your invites whilst slowly trying to find yourself some invites for the trackers you want, or simply higher level sites which you can then use to give away invites for in the future (try not to be too greedy though). Most importantly though, being nice to everyone, making friends and networking. Also, keep building up your ratio on your private trackers, particularly your highest level ones as you will need to use these as ratio proofs to receive invites for higher level sites.
Part 5 - Getting There..:
By now, you will hopefully be a respected member of T-I. You will have given away several invites (or as many as you can) and taken some too. You will have contributed to the community in whatever way you can. Perhaps by helping out with a problem someone else is having, or REPing new users in the Introduction Forum (who deserve to be!). Hopefully you've made some friends in the process! You may have been lucky enough or nice/friendly enough to find yourself all of the tracker invites you initially wanted, or you may not have been. Perhaps you are still looking for just a couple or you have new trackers that you would like now that you know more about the private BitTorrent world. Whatever the case, if you are still searching for particular private trackers, like most of us always are! You must continue to do what you have been doing but there are ways in which you can speed up this process. At this point, i would suggest that you invest in a seedbox (or speedbox as i like to call it). This will really help you to build up a stellar ratio at the higher level trackers where it is normally harder to do so anyway. It is important because you need to try and give away invites for the higher level sites, to those users who deserve to be there. Do not stop giving away invites to the other trackers though, everything you contribute to the community will help you. A seedbox should help you to build up a good ratio on your private trackers (which you need as proof for getting invites) and the seedbox itself will make other members more likely to give you invites as they know you will have no trouble seeding. I suggest you research this matter and if you can afford one (they really aren't too expensive), get one. However, if you can not afford one, you can still get to the trackers you want, it may just be a little slower.
Part 6 - Social Networking
This relates very closely to being nice to other people and being an active member of the community. You should have realised by now that making friends is of particular importance here at T-I. Not only does it make your user-experience far more pleasant and enjoyable, but it also allows you to meet new people, which in turn means more opportunites for you. By opportunities i'm talking about a greater chance of you finding an invite to a tracker that you want. Getting to know people and making friends is a must. Before people are going to part with an invite (which puts them at risk too) they must trust you, because if you don't treat the account well then it is likely that they will be banned from what is possibly their beloved tracker too. Therefore they must trust you. What is great is that you will also find it easier to give away your invites to higher level sites because you may already have friends who are looking for them and you know that you can trust them. I can't stress enough how important this whole friend-networking part of it is, it is a continuous/ongoing thing. Make the effort to be nice/kind & helpful and you will be rewarded!
Part 7 - The Request
If you have reached the point where you have done everything you can, you've given as much as you can, you've helped lots of other users, befriended others and simply feel that you deserve this invite and are having no luck finding/getting it, i suggest you make a request. Most users do not like to see very new users making a request, particularly for a high level site, so i would only suggest that you do this when you have been here for a while and have given a lot of invites/time/effort to the community yourself. If you have done everything you can i'm sure you will find an invite to the site you want in no time at all.
To finish this up, i'd just like to say thankyou again for everyone who has helped me in the past and shared their knowledge with me. I really hope that this advises or at least helps you a little bit. Just remember to always follow the rules, be nice & helpful, try to make friends and earn peoples trust. This is by no means a fast process. Becoming respected, giving invites, making friends and building up your ratios are all gradual, but if you follow it i'm sure that you will get what you want. I guess the key thing is that you must be patient, otherwise this world isn't for you. If you think i should add something feel free to post it.
