Thread: How to give a Feedback/iGiver *V3* *silentninja edition*

Step 1

Click on the Feedback Score number under the Posts count. It is a hyperlink.





Step 2

Click on the Submit Feedback For ... on the right side of the page. It is a hyperlink.





Step 3

Choose the necessary options from the menus. Overall Experience is where you choose Positive or Neutral or Negative Feedback. You have to choose Positive by default.





Step 4



Copy and paste the URL of the invite thread in the first field. Only copy and paste the main URL — or else an error may occur.
In the second field enter the following information Giveaway Type (Tracker Name). For example, Invite (BitHDTV), Bonus (BitHDTV) or Seedbox.





Step 5

Submit Feedback.

I was thinking the same thing.

Nice tutorial though silentninja :D hopefully it'll help clarify for those among the forums who seem confused by the whole system (I can understand that it may be overwhelming)

Just a suggestion for Step 4: instead of copying/pasting the URL of the invite thread, opt to copy and paste the permalink of the actual post in that thread where you asked for (or received) the invite. This is my CHDBits invite request (post #85) for example:



Just right click on the post # and copy the location. And instead of writing a short comment we should encourage being more descriptive and detailed like, "thanks for the CHDBits invite" or "Thanks for the PTN Bonus."

Because when researching someone else's igiver histories you only see the 'comment given' that then links to the invite thread.



If I left an igiver for this CHDBits without using a permalink, you would have to go through 9 pages of posts before you found mine (the 85th). On another note, an obscure comment like "Thanks for this" makes it that more difficult in finding specific igiver data, for example, finding another CHDBits invite I received in the past (which would this one a dupe, or if caught early enough, a dupe attempt).

Now of course if I had planned to make a dupe attempt after my first CHDBits I could simply have just linked to a PTM giveaway thread and commented, "thanks for this one!" right? This is where the igiver record is a two way street. Inviters should also be checking that their invitees are linking their igiver to the correct invite thread,url, or better yet, a permalink.

Kenobih is the chosen one in this thread. Thank you for the nice words. I tried to put a decent effort in making of this tutorial.
Interesting points there, P2P_seeder. I will update the tutorial a bit regarding the comments for Feedback, but I do not like the premalinks idea because some people get errors when posting different links into Feedback. Plus, this tutorial is mainly intended for newbies, so many links = complicated and possible errors. They just want to know how not in how many ways.

Im happy if I have inspired you to do this, and even if I didnt, still great job.

At start, I had some (small) problems with persons that needed to give me iGiver, but later on, I figured out that I should make some universal text message that I will sent to each person that gets my invite, it looked like this:

Invite sent! Please use your account and don't forget to leave an iGiver!
