    Default Making Ratio Proofs quick and easy with PicPic

    PicPic is an awesome screen capture tool that has many different capture options and allows the image to be shared many different ways.

    • It can be setup so when pressing Pint Screen it will automatically open an image in the editor.

    • Then once finished editing choose File > Share > Upload to Web.

    • A popup will appear, choose to upload to your Imageshack account.

    Quick and easy with PicPic huh?

    I prefer TechSmith Snagit. It can be added to IE, Firefox or Safari as a plug-in or used as standalone.
    It has 40 different ways of capturing, it can combine images, has spotlight, magnify and markup tools. You can sent grabs to the website via ftp, email them, add them to MS Office. It organizes grabs for you and auto-tagged them. Just great piece of software. Check out the trial.

    Windows System Requirements
    • Microsoft Windows XP*, Windows Vista*, or Windows 7*.
    • 1.0 GHz processor ~ Recommended: 2.4 GHz
    • 512 MB of RAM ~ Recommended: 1 GB or more
    • 60 MB of hard-disk space for program installation
    • Internet Explorer 7.0 or later required

    * 32-bit or 64-bit

    Mac OS X System Requirements
    • Intel Mac running 10.5.8 (Leopard), 10.6 (Snow Leopard), 10.7 (Lion), or higher

    Personally, I use pixlr grabber as it also allows me to edit photos in my web browser like mock version of Photoshop. Which sometimes comes in handy on sites like PTP where their logo image is locked so you can't right click it, pixlr grabber allows me to grab the .png

    I like snagit. I think v10 is bloated when compared with v9.
