I have a question:
Are there any people here in the US that use Super SeedBox? If so are you having problems with your FTP Speeds (both up and down)?

Specifically looking for anyone that has a box located in France?

Hey mate
Well this is a common issue now a days....
Most of the seedbox providers use OVH as thier Host.
As OVH has limited its traffic outside europe and made it low priority
People from USA are getting Low speeds.

Right now we are shifting our servers to some different host
So if you need your seedbox shifted then let us know we will shift your seedbox to differnt datacenter
and then you can get good ftp speeds..

I'm in Europe and since some days my FTP download speed at SuperSeedBox droped radically from about 1 mbit/s to max 30 kb/s.

2xxh for a HD film to download! That's fun!

I submitted a ticket about the issue, they answered that they are downloading just fine. But I don't think that I'm causing the problem because I didn't change anything.

Overall I'm not very impressed about SuperSeedBox!

Yes the Major Issue is going on with Stupid OVH servers....
We are soon shifting to a new host.....
And about the ftp speeds there isnt much we can do about....except shifting you on a new server.

This is not new. Few weeks ago i got like 3-4 days of less than 20kb in FTP transfer and I live in Europe... that really sucked
After that period everything got back to normal and Filezilla maxed out my connection again.

I've been talking with (I think it's you) (well more me talking then you lately) about the problem(s), and you say that you will move my account to a different server, and that you have some test boxes for me to try, but that was 3 days ago, and I continue to leave msg's each day with no substantial response.

I've investigated this issue a little more also, and I am pretty sure it has nothing to do with the "well known problem with Frane to US routing" that you say it is.. I didn't realize that my other box (I have 2 others) was also located in France (thought it was in the UK), and that one has none of the issues that the box that I'm on from you has.??

As you know, I have had problems with this box from day 1. (I have the documentation and screenshots to prove it), but all you want to do is say it's my problem...??

Please step up, offer the box / support that many here claim is top notch, and what I paid for.. As you know I said I am even willing to give up the Gig. line that I paid for, to get a box that works...

Yea, it's just been one thing after another with the box that I'm on with superseedbox, but this has been persistent from day 1. (there have been other problems, but they did seem to work hard to get those resolved...)

I have a 15/25 Mbit home connection, have 2 other boxes (one in France (I thought it was in the UK, but it's in France) and one in Sweden) and they both work flawlessly, 95% of the time.

None of them is perfect, but this one with superseedbox has been nothing but problems....

I am not exactly sure whats going on between u and Super Seedbox, but like Mac said, all OVH servers have terrible/poor routing to the U.S. & other countries. Thats a known fact and really FTP speeds having nothing to do with Super Seedbox or any re-seller for that matter. Its OVH's, or other server provider's network. All Super Seedbox does is compile/install an FTP server on OVH's network and configure it for use. However, there servers should be maintained as if it was there network though.

Yes, FTP speeds can be limited through the config files, servers could be overloaded/not split properly, there could be a lot of torrenting going on, etc.. These are the things that should be looked at & maintained by re-sellers and that could cause low FTP speeds. I would suggest trying a multi-thread FTP client like CuteFtp to see if that will help. If not then u need to wait to be switched to a different server or do what u think is best.

What is going on is, that I paid for sothing that I'm simply not getting (not even a fraction of what was in the offer), and havent gotten it from day 1. I'm certian that I'm not being un-realistic with my expectations, because I do have some experience with seedbox's.

I had so many issue with the box, that in the first week they had to "reformat" the drive because of some users abuse.. I lost a 202 Gig torrent on that first problem, because they didn't do a back up on it before the reformatting. Which I can live with, not that big a deal, but it's just one problem after another..

I don't think my dentoo box is running with OVH's, but I would guess that they are going to be running through the same back bone, or one that is in close proximity, and it doesn't have any of these issues.. (have had the dentoo box for 7 months)

If the routing issue is such a "Known Fact" why can't I find any appreciable amount of complaints when googled, and why would you sell a box to a location (US) knowing this "known fact"?

When I do a multi tracert to the box, it shows no routing issues (I know it's not the same) but I would think that a big issue with OVH would show up..

Thanks for the suggestion, but I only use multi- threaded FTP clients, and I have literally tried every setting combination I know of, all making no difference.. So now we are simply dealing with a customer relation issue, as it's now going on 4 days and absolutely no response from superseedbox....
