I just got a seedbox through torrentswift and I want to cross seed my torrents but I don't know how, also I have music I have uploaded to what.cd through utorrent and I want to put them on new seedbox and upload them but I am clueless how to do so. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Make a torrent from the file you want to share then upload the file (the file you made the torrent from) from your pc to your box using your ftp client. When site tells you its a successful upload click the torrent link and save it to ur pc. Now all you have to do is load the torrent you saved to your server where it will check the file and begin seeding.

hey Toxic420, I just got a seedbox through Torrentswift as well! Just wanted to know what you think about them so far?? I mself....well this is my first seedbox and just want to start off with something really cheap......and it seems to be doing good for me

Kermit I checked out Torrentswift and the only thing that turned me off was the data transfers being limited. If you get a chance check out seedhost.eu. They have shared plans starting at $18 euros. That includes unmetered bandwidth per month, 60Gb hdd, 4 active torrents, and at 100/100Mbps. It's one of the best deals I have found and I'm averaging 8.5MB download (maxed it on one torrent at 12.5MB) and 5-7MB for uploads (maxed it at 11MB).

Question: Do seedboxes only upload or do they download too?
When it says: 60GB and your DL'ing torrents, do the torrents go to the HDD on the seedbox? Can you download torrents to your own HDD?
And you can only have 4 torrents on this unfortunately :( (seedhost.eu.)

yea the 60GB is your allotted space on the server you transfer the files with your ftp client to your pc. I have 10 torrents in the webgui at the moment and around 15 on my server. I keep the 4 with the lowest ratio seeding and just switch out here and there (no ratio is under 5.0). Yes they download too, its just like running utorrent but with 100/100Mbps speed. I can download a dvdr in 6 min. (depending on how popular it is) and have it seeded to a 5.0 ratio or higher within the hour. I usually stop seeding after a 5.0 ratio (for 700mb files) and 10.0 (for dvdr's), giving those without high speeds a chance to seed.
