The script for deluge worked beautifully. I just have one question. If I wanted to manually change the config file for deluge which is owned by the deluge user how could I do this. was there a password created for deluge? could I login as the deluge user via putty?

    Thanks again for your work

You can't create torrents with Deluge. You can only create torrents with Rutorrent or with a local torrent software.

For the Deluge config file, you can edit the Deluge script. The default password created for deluge is: deluge. Not sure for the last question, someone will answer.

I have a few questions for you
    1) Which part of the tutorial, refers to the installation of rtorrent (rutorrent is there, but i could not see rtorrent installation description )
    2) Also, if I replace the word Lucid, with Oneiric or any other installation in installserver.sh, will the script work ?
    3) Is installation of a proxy server also included in the tutorial above ?

    Thanks in advance,

    1) Rutorrent is just a graphic interface for Rtorrent. Rtorrent is installed with the Rutorrent script.
    2) Not sure if it will work, but you can try, it will not be risky.
    3) No proxy server in the tutorial, an OpenVPN server instead. But if you connect to the webmin console, you can setup one in 2 minutes graphically. Someone can post screenshots to help you if needed.

Question regarding registering for a Kimsufi(co.uk) server: I created an account with them (OVH), but it was locked to United Kingdom, so I couldn't use a real address if I wanted to. Then they asked for identification to verify who I were. I was curious as to how others signed up for them because I do not want to send copies of my ID to them.

Default Modify the location of rutorrent

    Hello,

All the scripts work great. There is a minor problem. Suppose I want to install another script using apt-get install xxxxx.

By default, all new scripts get installed to the location /var/www/new_script

But in the script that you have shown, the http root gets set to /var/rutorrent/ instead of /var/www/rutorrent/

Now I dont want to disturb the rutorrent setting as such, but is it possible to somehow access /var/www/index.html through the browser ?

Right now, when i type http://my_ip/ in my browser , I get redirected to /var/rutorrent/index.html

    Thanks,
    Newbie
