hi folks

I have just ordered a basic (cardboard box) seedbox fromSeedBox Hosting

they have since sent me an email notifying me that the setup of the seedbox is underway

their are a few questions id like to ask (as i have never used a seedbox before)

if the line is 100mbps unmetered (then what is the likely speed i could achieve?)

and for that price is going to be a 1 person (me alone) seedbox or is it likely to be a shared box?

and.. whats the difference between a webui seedbox and a remote login type seedbox?

and has anybody used these before?

I have only been a customer of super-seed.me.uk for about 24 hours, but it's been ok so far. The setup was pretty quick (about 7 hours), and using it has been easy. So far, it's uploaded about 40GB in 24 hours. Not the fastest seedbox I've used, but for the price, it's not that bad either.

I've yet to really need assistance, so I can't really give them a rating based on that.

This is definitely a shared box. The hard disk on this server is filling quickly. Hope this helps some.

I've been a customer of super-seed.me.uk for about three weeks now. I'm using the cardboard package and am rather happy with it. This might not be the best seedbox out there, but for the price it's more than acceptable considering strong speed (at least from what i've experienced so far) and consistency.

I've sent in two requests for assistance on low priority issues and have yet to get a response out of them (going on 5 days now). So I would go into this seedbox expecting to take care of yourself, which isn't always a deal breaker if you know what you're doing.

Not sure if I create a new topic since this is an oldish post, or post here.

This was my first seedbox, and I was excited about how cheap it was. Paid via paypal and waited. Ended up waiting 6 days until I filed a paypal resolution form, 20 hours later I had my account. While I had it it worked fine, got good download and upload speeds with not very much downtime. The server was horribly misconfigured though, I was able to access with read and write permissions, every other users folder on that server, I then went over my 500GB bandwidth limit... and kept on going. Then, without warning, my directory became unreadable and unwritable. sent a ticket, posted to the forums, and sent a message to everyone else on the server. Nothing.

If you look in the forums you get a lot of people wondering where their accounts are.

if speed more 9-10mb/s torrentflux-b4rt always "down", support is bad (answer wait 1-3 days) box setup first time wait ~ 24h., ip get from kimsufi :)
