    Default iSeedbox.co.uk

    Name: iSeedbox
    URL: iSeedbox - Home Page
Speed: 100Mbit/1Gbit (only for dedis at the moment)
    Support: 10/10
GUI: You can choose between TorrentFlux 2.4, TorrentFlux B4RT, TorrentFlux 3.0, uTorrent, rTorrent, rTorrent Shell, rTorrent + ruTorrent, rTorrent + wTorrent and Deluge + Webui.
    Speed of GUI: 8/10
    Package: iS-SB-2
    Price: £10 per month
    Overall rating: 9.5/10

This is what the website looks like:

    INTRODUCTION:

Got my new seedbox today and I'm a happy camper. You really can make the most of your investment.

The box is pretty easy to use, new and experimented users should rapidly feel confortable with it.

    User Interface:

Efficient interface so far, no lag at all, all commands respond pretty fast.

I chose ruTorrent myself since I was already used to it. All major plugins were already installed, so no need for sending a support ticket to fill in the blanks. I like the black background color too!

A Web Control Panel is given along with your rtorrent Webui, so you can basically check everything.

    rtorrent webui:

    Web Control Panel:

    SPEEDS:

Gave the box a try when a big torrent showed up on one of my favorite tracker. Within a minute, I was downloading at 10.5 MB/s and seeding at 7.5 MB/s at the same time. So far, the maximum upload speed I got was around 8 MB/s. However, I regulary download at speed around 20 MB/s (o_O), which is pretty darn good considering I'm on a supposedely 100 Mbits line.

Here are a few screenshots of the box in usage:

(taken today, rtorrent is in english now)

Even if the number of torrents is hypothetically illimited, I would suggest no to surchage the box, specially if you only take the plan with 512MB of RAM.

    HDD:

The actual plan comes with 75GBbut hey, it's completely up to you to get a bigger HDD by adding a few bucks.

    SSH:

You are given the root password and command lines to fix most issues you could have with your box along with your box details when you purchase it. I find it very usefull myself since I can not remember how many times that annoying "bad link to rtorrent" showed up before with my previous provider. No need to a be an expert, everything is explained on the email.

    CUSTOMER SUPPORT:

24/7 email system for support tickets sent from your Web Control Panel. Can't tell you how long it would take for an answer since I didn't had any major issue. I myself prefer hanging out in the IRC channel, staff is very helpfull and friendly.

    DELIVERY TIME:

Around 24h after payment is cleared. No setup fees of any kind of course.

    DEDICATED SERVERS:

The site also offers a range of dedicated servers. I won't review them but here's a picture of what you can get and at which prices:

Note that the site offers 1 Gbits lines for dedis only so far.

    CONCLUSION:

Pretty good deal is you ask me. With prices which range from £8 to £22 ($12.5 or 10 Euros up to $35 or 25 Euros), almost complete control of the box and fast speeds, everyone can find the box of its needs.

I hope you'll find this review usefull! I you do, please hit the thanks button!

P.S: I'll add any major updates when I'm in the know.

I went to their homepage to order one so i can test it myself but i was scared from the quantity of informations they were asking to make me an account.

I didn't understand why i have to tell them my private trackers and my username.

Maybe i am an idiot but i got confused with the password fields too.

    TorrentLeech Username:

In their list they have 2 usernames wanted and 3 passwords. I don't get it really.

I believe the owner provides a lot of torrentleech users, and since TL asks its users to mention that they have a seedbox, that could be a way to do it automatically. Plus, they don't force you to do it, worst comes to worst you can always leave the field blank.

As I understand it, they somehow recommand that you use different usernames/passwords for both your account on the site and your seedbox; I don't know, maybe it's a matter of security. I myself chose the same ones and well, it worked pretty well :001_tongue:

You can send always a ticket NaruDita, unless of course it's going to get fixed this week-end. It's been a few days for me now and I'm very happy. You probably recognise the box from the screenshots I posted, and well, they say the truth

this is the 3rd or 4th seedbox that I've tried out and I am VERY disappointed. the download speeds are GREAT, often hitting around 23mbs, but the upload speeds are PATHETIC. I wouldn't recommend iseedbox and I definitely won't be continuing my subscription...

New update on site! Now the setup is instantaneous!

    @people getting bad speeds:

Well I don't know what to tell you. I've never had any problems speed-wise. Here's a screenshot taken a couple of minutes ago:

I have already opened a dispute in PayPal for them clearly disappointed with their services.

I have ordered one seedbox from them at October 22 but they haven't delivered it yet. I don't understand how do they claim they provide fast setup.

I have sent 3 emails to them without any response. I have reached the owner on IRC last Friday and he promised me that my seedbox would be ready the previous Saturday night (yeah right) i haven't seen it running though.

    Bad personal experience with them.

I just signed the most basic plan in iSeedbox to test. I have just finished making the payment via PayPal. So far, the status is still pending. Soon I'll post my review.

    This is my first seedbox.
