    Speed:100Mbps

    Support: 10/10. they have been on whenever I needed them and have always helped me regardless of how dumb may question may have been

    GUI: 9/10. Its rutorrent, so its good by default.

    Speed: 10/10. For a 100mb/s server the speeds are great, so far I am seeding up at 5 mb/s and have downloaded at 9mb/s.

    Package: kimsufi c-o5g with 3tb upload



    Price: $50

    Overall rating: 9/10

    The only thing i can say about them is that I dont like paying 50 dollars a month, but other than they are great. I wanted a digicube server, but due to the popularity from the fsf article, they said they got swamped with orders and digicube was slow to respond so they dropped them, so I went with the kimsufi. Highly recommended.

    edit: I wanted a server os reinstall and support told me they wouldnt help me install rtorrent unless I upgraded my server. So after that I rate their support a 0/10. (read the revised review)

    Revised review:
    I'm back for a second time after leaving them and finding no better option. I went into support talked to Craig, who answered any questions I had such as why don’t they offer ubuntu 10.04 when OVH does (OVH has it listed in beta because they have not modified it yet) and if they could install lighttpd over apache (which they did). I was told it would be setup in 2 hours, I think he may have meant 12 though. I ordered it at 6:00pm and it was setup the next day at 3:00pm, which was not a problem for me since I was in no rush. They did state that this was due to them being busy because of their new offerings, which is understandable. I was offered access to rtorrent to load some torrents while I waited for setup to finish, but I declined since I am in no rush. Darren installed, along with the programs I asked for, NX so I could access the desktop which was nice since it is usually 3 pounds extra. They also got me my old server back which was great since my log in information stayed the same. After I got my log in details I was able to see how my server was setup. They stated that they ran into problems setting up lighttpd with rutorrent but after I got the log in details, everything worked. Based on my experience this time, all my ratings stay the same other than support, which I increase to a 10.

    Seedmachines.co.cc is a great provider with perfect setups & true unmetered bandwidth plus much more. They they offer a wide range of ovh/fr, netdirect & server.lu seedboxes. They also have a .com but as it says on the site, its still under construction.

    Support: 10/10 they help you pick the right package to suit your needs, and help you step by step the whole way thru, I have only needed support for minor issues, & I have never had any downtime for the whole period Ive been with them. I have also referred friends to them who are happy with the service. If you looking for a long time service provider then these are the guys.
    GUI: vnc, webui, ftp & ssh
    Speed of GUI: Ive used their dualcore & quadcore machines, and I can say its just as good as using your own desktop.
    Package: DEDICATED VPS GOLD
    Price: 60€
    Overall rating: 10/10

    I'd like to revise Rapidspeeds a little bit since it's been a few months, and a couple of things have changed.

    Name: Rapidspeeds

    Package: I'm using the same c-o5g as jb123 and the price is now 58 USD if you get in when they randomly waive the setup fee.

    GUI: 10/10. rutorrent. nuff said.

    Support: 8/10. Live support is disabled now for people using our lower priced servers. You need to open up a support ticket which they usually reply to within 3-12 hours i'd say. I haven't experienced any down time and it's been two weeks so it's nice to know that they keep their 99.9% uptime honored. They say setup time is within 72 hours and it was a photo finish at end of the 71 hour mark.

    Speed: 10/10.The speeds are great and max out both up and down at the same time. Coming from only semidedicated boxes i can only say good things so my opinion may be a bit skewed. The 3TB limit was harder to hit than i thought.


    Other than paying 58 bucks i'm pretty happy.

    Their support is not that good to the extent to give them 10/10. I would give them 6/10. yes they are always there. But they treat you dis-respectively. I remember when I was a beginner in linux & in seed boxes I wanted to taste the dedicated box so I came to their support channel& asked would you support me in softwares because I am new to this matter they said yes only to have my money. then after few days I came asking to change version of rtorrent because it is banned on one my trackers. Darren said" I am specialised in just OS & Craig is softwares guy, what would be an expert that knows OS without knowing installation of its app!!" "Craig ignored me until the finish of my subscription". So I learned ubuntu & I am in the way to learn another linux distro so thanks rapidspeeds for encouraging me to be independent on your sh*t support I give you for that 10/10.

    So has the support improved? Or are newbies like me going to be screwed? I've been emailing them and so far their sales team is promising complete set up and support throughout my term with them.

    Should I test the waters?

    I cannot comment on current support. But the part about support throughout your term is probably a lie, they may say that now, but when you sign up they may say they want 20 pounds more to do it, so I would be careful. Like i stated above, they once said they would not help me unless I upgraded my box. However if you do need help, I know there are alot of people here at TI that can help.

    edit: when they told me I needed to upgrade my box for support, MikeD was able to help me out by setting up my box. He went way above and beyond my expections.

    They do have the best price IMHO for the $50 Dedi - but I'm not sure what kinda help I'd need consider I dont even know what to expect from a dedi box lol . But I just checked at they do need 20 pounds/month for additional support, which I'm going to clarify with them. It's either this, or $45/460GB from Pulsedmedia, which is still shared.

    np, and from a dedi box, at worst they'll just install some operating system for you, give you the ssh login details and leave you do the rest. However, I seriously doubt they would do that.

    jb123, i dont have a clue what you are on about, you tell me another dedi seedbox provider that has live chat as much as they do, or offer the kind of setups they do! every other reseller i have had, always give you the option of 1 torrent client, two if you are lucky! they offer like 7. Never met more helpful resellers.. i asked them to setup things for a website for me, mysql/php/apache etc, and they did it no questions asked

    for me 10/10 for everything, never had any problems or submit any tickets

    very politeful staff aswell as very helpfull

    and speeds are just too impressive i would reccomend them to any one

    RapidSpeeds provide the best service around and they have very competative prices...
    They are soon gonna start with colos as well...
    Talking about the support, they have live chat, email and ticket system...
    Tickets are normally answered within 6-8 Hrs...
    I will rate them 10/10
    i dont find any negativeness in their service...
